Introduction 

These terms and conditions govern the contest “Ticker Premier League” (referred to as “the Contest”) and your eligibility, participation, reward in this contest. In addition to this contest’s terms and conditions, you will also be subject to the general terms and conditions, privacy policy of use of our website.

 

Eligibility 

The Ticker Premier League contest ("Contest") is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years of age and reside in India and use ticker for picking stocks.

However, the employees of the Company or group companies, their relatives, or associates of the Company are not eligible to participate in this contest.

 

Disqualification 

Ticker reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the terms and conditions of the Contest or engages in fraudulent or illegal activities. 

 

No Entry Fee 

There is no entry fee required to participate in the Ticker Premier League.

 

Duration

The contest period is 30 days starting from 1st April 2023 to 30th April 2023.

 

Prizes 

The prizes for the Ticker Premier League on our website are as follows: 

1st Prize: Rs 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only)

2nd Prize: Rs 20,000/- (Rupees TwentyThousand Only)

3rd Prize: Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only)

4th Prize: Rs 6,000/- (Rupees Six Thousand Only)

5th Prize: Rs 4,000/- (Rupees Four Thousand Only)

6th to 10th Prize: Rs 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only)

 

Winner Determination 

The participants will be judged based on the watchlist of stocks they create during the contest period in the contest page.

 

The winner of our Ticker Premier League will be determined based on skill by which the participants choose stocks, not chance. If a participant chooses good stocks by his analysis, he will get good returns and the person with highest return will win at the end of the contest. 

The winner will be determined & declared by 1st week of May. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the Company reserves the right to postpone the determination and declaration. In case of a tie, the winner will be selected based on the team composition such as portfolio diversification, market cap wise allocation, sector allocation, etc.

The Company may at its sole discretion require users to provide PAN, proof of identity and proof of residence before confirming a User as the winner.

The Company may at its discretion require a user to agree to feature in Ticker’s advertisement or promotional / marketing material as a condition for receiving the prize in a Reward Promotion.

Taxes

The winners are solely responsible for any taxes or duties that may be applicable to the prize money. Further, the prize money shall be paid net of applicable TDS as required to be deducted by the Company as per Income Tax Act, 1961.

 

Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by the participants or any third party as a result of participating in the Contest.

 

Modification / Termination

The Company reserves the right to modify or terminate the Contest at any time, without prior notice, whether with or without assigning any due reason including on any situation of force majeure.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the place of operations of the Company.
